December 13, 2008

Metal Sanaz of SyncLive.com conducted an interview with the Los Angeles-based metal band FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH in late November. Watch the nine-minute chat below.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH's debut album, "The Way of the Fist", has sold 251,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The Canadian version of the CD, which was released on November 4, includes a live version of "The Devil's Own" and an acoustic version of "The Bleeding".

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH will take part in the fourth edition of the Music As A Weapon tour, which will kick off in March. Also joining the headliners DISTURBED will be KILLSWITCH ENGAGE.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH will be coming to the UK for the first time as part of Metal Hammer's "Defenders of the Faith II" package in February 2009. This tour boasts an incredible lineup of metal heavyweights, with DIMMU BORGIR, LAMB OF GOD and UNEARTH completing the bill. FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH will also be playing headlining dates in London and Oxford, as well as supporting LAMB OF GOD on two dates in Ireland.

As previously reported, Finland's Spinefarm Records has set a January 19, 2009 European release date for "The Way of the Fist". The UK version comes with a bonus live track plus a cover of FAITH NO MORE's "From Out of Nowhere".
